What if your last kiss was with the wrong boy?
Cassidy Haines remembers her first kiss vividly. It was on the old covered bridge the summer before her freshman year with her boyfriend of three years, Ethan Keys. But her last kiss–the one she shared with someone at her seventeenth birthday party the night she died–is a blur. Cassidy is trapped in the living world, not only mourning the loss of her human body, but left with the grim suspicion that her untimely death wasn’t a suicide as everyone assumes. She can’t remember anything from the weeks leading up to her birthday and she’s worried that she may have betrayed her boyfriend.
If Cassidy is to uncover the truth about that fateful night and make amends with the only boy she’ll ever love, she must face her past and all the decisions she made–good and bad–that led to her last kiss.
My Review: Cassidy has everything going for her, good friends, a boyfriend she loves. Then one day she wakes up in an hospital morgue walking around her own dead body. She just starts wondering the place trying to find out what happens. Turns out she had taken her own life on that day on that bridge. Now trap in the between world she watches everyone she loves tries to coop with her lose but somehow she can’t seem to move on with the afterlife yet. Ethan is the only person to able to see her. Cassidy thinks there more to the story of her death, so she teams up with Ethan to solve her death. Can Cassidy really move one after she finds out the truth or stuck on earth watching everyone around her move on without her? Did she really kill herself that day or something more dark happen? To get theses questions answer, just open the book and read for yourself. This book has a lot of heart and guessing in it that keeps you edge of your seat the whole time. What is this truth did she really kill her self or someone else took her life? Is Cassidy making up that someone might have killed her to not face the fact she had taken her own life? Well I said go to your library or bookstore to check out this debut author and see for yourself. Happy Reading!
