Clay Jensen returns home from school to find a strange package with his name on it lying on his porch. Inside he discovers several cassette tapes recorded by Hannah Baker–his classmate and crush–who committed suicide two weeks earlier. Hannah’s voice tells him that there are thirteen reasons why she decided to end her life. Clay is one of them. If he listens, he’ll find out why.
Clay spends the night crisscrossing his town with Hannah as his guide. He becomes a firsthand witness to Hannah’s pain, and as he follows Hannah’s recorded words throughout his town, what he discovers changes his life forever.

My Review:

When Hannah takes her life you thought that was the end of her story, well your wrong. When Clay gets a package in the mail his life change forever. In those packages where tapes Hannah made to tell her story. Before she passed away she made a list of names involved in her death. She made everyone on her list gets a tape explaining her actions and what part they took. Clay was just shock his name belong on that list. He never been mean to Hannah before and try to be nice to her. So what does Hannah really think of Clay? In the end there was sign people missed and Hannah trying to reach out for help but everyone failed to notice before it’s was to late. So listen to the tapes for yourself and enter Hannah world to understand her for yourself. Maybe her tapes will help another person who is thinking of suicide. This book is very empowering and eye opening also. Takes you in the mind of Hannah and wish that someone would have set in and save her. In the end you can only learn by her tapes and hope to help another person like Hannah. Don’t miss netflix series to 13 Reason Why in March and Here is a clip to it. So Enjoy….
