Book Summary:

Carver Briggs never thought a simple text would cause a fatal crash, killing his three best friends, Mars, Eli, and Blake. But now Carver can’t stop blaming himself for the accident and even worse, a powerful judge is pressuring the district attorney to open up a criminal investigation.
Luckily, Carver has some unexpected allies: Eli’s girlfriend, the only person to stand by him at school; Dr. Mendez, his new therapist; and Blake’s grandmother, who asks Carver to spend a -goodbye day- together to share their memories and say a proper farewell.
Soon the other families are asking for their own goodbye day with Carver–but he’s unsure of their motives. Will they all be able to make peace with their losses, or will these goodbye days bring Carver one step closer to a complete breakdown or–even worse–prison?

My Review:

Carver life gets turn upside when he text his friends one night and cause a huge wreck. Now he facing jail time, lost all his friends and is alone now in the world of the living. Dealing with so much on his own he never really got to say goodbye to his friends. This gripping story leave you an emotional wreck. As you dive into the story you can see the pain and suffering Carver goes through his eyes and how his actions affects everyone around him. You see his journey to grow and try to heal after his grief. This book was well written and can hit your hard. It’s a hard when you loose your friends and feeling alone. So pick up this book and read Carer story and find for yourself will he be able to overcome this or get throw into jail forever? So Happy Reading!
