I was dead for 13 minutes and I want to know why by Sarah Pinborough

Book Summary:

Natasha’s sure that her friends love her. But does that mean they didn’t try to kill her?

Natasha is the most popular girl in school. So why was she pulled out of a freezing river after being dead for thirteen minutes? She doesn’t remember how she ended up in the icy water that night, but she does know this—it wasn’t an accident, and she wasn’t suicidal.

Now Natasha’s two closest friends, who are usually her loyal sidekicks, are acting strangely. Natasha turns to Becca, the best friend she dumped years before, to help her figure out the mystery.

At first Becca isn’t sure that she even wants to help Natasha. But as she is drawn back into Natasha’s orbit, Becca starts putting the pieces together. As an outsider, Becca believes she may be the only one who can uncover the truth…which is far more twisted than she ever imagined.

My Review:

This book was an alright read for me. It started out pretty slow in the beginning and then the story picks up a bit. The ending leaves you wanting more answers.

Natasha is this popular girl, who died for 13 minutes. She is like a queen B in high school. She was such an mean person before she died. Then after what happen to her, she somewhat change a bit. Rekindle with her old best friend Becca and seem distance with her other friends. What’s the truth behind her death and memory lost? She is not my favorite character in book.

Then there Becca the girl who had fallen out with Natasha years ago. She feels sorry for the girl who died and hope to become friends with her again. Also try to solve what happen with Natasha at the same time. What cost will Becca make for being friends again with the Queen B? I like Becca in the book, she is smart and sometimes have good head on shoulders. She can be overbearing towards her older boyfriend at times.

If your into slow mystery books, with shocking twist at the end, then this book might for you. I suggest for older teens reading this book. It got romance, death, school bullies. Find out what happen to Natasha in 13 Minutes for self.

Happy Reading!!!
