{Arc Review} A good Girl’s Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson

Book Summary:

The case is closed. Five years ago, schoolgirl Andie Bell was murdered by Sal Singh. The police know he did it. Everyone in town knows he did it.

But having grown up in the same small town that was consumed by the murder, Pippa Fitz-Amobi isn’t so sure. When she chooses the case as the topic for her final year project, she starts to uncover secrets that someone in town desperately wants to stay hidden. And if the real killer is still out there, how far will they go to keep Pip from the truth?

My Review:

What happens when a school project opens up a 5 years case?

Pippa always believes that Sal was innocent. He just seems to nice and caring to very murder someone years ago. So when a school project give her a chance to looks for the truth. She discover some dark secrets of Andie Bell life and a long list of suspects along the way. With unlikely help, she tries to clear a innocent boy’s life, even if it put her life in danger.

This book was fast pace read. I did enjoy the story line and the characters in it. It was nice seeing how everyone interact with each other. This book will leave you guessing who kill Andie Bell, but in the end leaves you with a twist you don’t see coming. I do love mystery reads and this book was perfect. Recently it just came out and found out there be a book two.

Looking for a new mystery, then check out A good Girls Guide to Murder.

Happy Reading!!!
