Welcome to the Van
Helsing Academy: a rehabilitation center for vampires, shifters, and witches
who don’t like to follow the rules.

Mina can’t remember anything about the night she was
attacked. All she knows is what she’s been told: she got separated from her
team during a mission and turned up two months later covered in cuts and
bruises alongside two dead vampires.

After being blamed for their deaths, she is sentenced
to three years at the supernatural rehabilitation center, the Van Helsing
Academy.

As Mina searches for answers, lies are slowly
unraveled and alliances forged. Soon she will uncover a secret plot that
threatens to destroy her family legacy and ignite a war between the
supernatural factions.

Van Helsing Academy is
the first book in a new YA paranormal romance series. No harem. Perfect for
fans of Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead, Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins, and
Mythos Academy by Jennifer Estep.

My Review:

What happens when a famous Van Helsing goes to boarding school with every magical creature hating on them?

Mina Van Helsing in the beginning seems to know it. When she splits from the group, things don’t go as plan. Her best friend is attack and in a coma. Mina don’t remember what happen for the pass couple weeks. She gets whisk away to Van Helsing Academy a reform school for paranormal creatures. The downside everyone knows her and hates her. While seeking answers on what happen she must watch her back

Van Helsing Academy is like any other high school out. You have the jocks, the popular girls and the hot alpha male ruling the school. Mina will have to try hard to fit in if she wants to stay alive.

I did enjoy this book a lot. It was fun and action pack. I like how Mina lets her guard down, and understand not all the monsters she heard about are evil. Also she start to get an understanding the changes of the school for the past couple of years. Mina does form some unlikely allies to help along the way. Wish the book was a little bit longer, but excited to see what happens next in book two.

Happy Reading!!!
