That Weekend by Kara Thomas

Summary:

Three best friends, a lake house, a secret trip – what could go wrong?

It was supposed to be the perfect prom weekend getaway. But it’s clear something terrible happened when Claire wakes up alone and bloodied on a hiking trail with no memory of the past forty-eight hours.

Three went up the mountain, but only one came back.

Now everyone wants answers – most of all, Claire. She remembers Friday night, but after that… nothing. And now Kat and Jesse – her best friends – are missing.

That weekend changes everything.

What happened on the mountain? And where are Kat and Jesse? Claire knows the answers are buried somewhere in her memory, but as she’s learning, everyone has secrets – even her best friends. And she’s pretty sure she’s not going to like what she remembers.

My Review:

That Weekend was such a tense book. I do love Kara Thomas other mystery/thriller so much. They are crazy and full of twists. Even the cover I really like. Looks like the main character lost in thoughts and has blood spots all over.

Righ at the the beginning you feel so bad for the main character, Claire. She is found hit in the head and no memories on what happens. It was like she was left for dead. Then her two best friends Kat and Jesse are gone. What happen that weekend that was supposed to be a fun trip, turn into a life or death thing. Only Claire may have answers, if she can remember.

The book was so good. I love everything about it and is a must reread. I feel bad for Claire because she pressure into remembering that weekend in hopes of finding Kat and Jesse. Two lives are hanging on the balance and no one where they are. Still such a suspenseful read, wondering if Kat and Jesse even alive or where they are at. This book was well written and leaves you on the edge of your seat.

If you have yet read any Kara Thomas, then I suggest you check out her books.

Happy Reading!!!!!
