My Review:

Are you ready to relieve the 80s and the 90s?

Dead Flip takes you back in time. Where 3 best friends start to drift a part, but end up coming back together years later. Cori, Maz and Sam did everything together. Soon things to fall apart when Sam disappeared one day. Then years later Sam appears and looks the same. Something is way off with him. Maz and Cori must work together to solve this mystery.

I really did enjoyed Dead Flip the story and the cover. It brought back so many memories of my childhood. Man do I feel so old reading this book. I love the mystery that revolves around Sam. It was a spooky book and great for the fall and Halloween. I can read this all year long. This book comes out August 30th, so make sure it’s on your tbr.

Ready to head back to Kettle Springs?

This review if for the second book to Clown in the Cornfield. If you have read the first book, then disregard this review.

Quinn, Cole and Rust are back. They are settling good in their new lives after everything. With dealing with bad press, they try to stay under the radar best they can. When something happen to Quinn’s dad, she and the gang must return home. What craziness is happening this time around in Kettle Springs.

Clown in Cornfield, Fredo Lives was so much fun. After the first book you see that the kids have grown and learn to fight. They try to move from the trauma after what happen, but they seem to can’t escape it. Also the cover to this book is way more creepy. After reading this I’m still afraid of clowns. Plus have lots of trust issues when reading horror books. It a prefect fall read. Just be careful for clowns.

I was lucky to pick up and early sign copy at my bookstore. The book comes out Aug. 23.

My Review:

The Honeys kinda blew my mind wide open. I came into this without knowing what going to happen. Really did love Ryan’s other two books. So this was my auto buy author. This book was very twisted and crazy. Which I really love, since it was so different than my other reads. The cover to this book is so pretty. I feel bad for all the characters in this book, especially the main one.

I love Mars and just want to protect him. All his life he been gender influence, his family and sister supports him. One night he suffers a horrible fate, when his twin died. Which was shocking on how it happen. So now he wants to uncover her sister life in Aspen. A place he dare he said he will never return. What dark secrets lies there and what really happen with Mars sister?

Ready to throw this book when finish with the craziness inside. It comes out Aug 15th, but some bookstores had it out early.

Summary:

My Review:

Something magical is happening.

Wild is the Witch was such a awesome read. My first time reading Rachel Griffin books. It won’t be the last time. I really loved the storyline and the characters so much. Another awesome cover that I like. It full of suspense and cute animals. This book recently hit the shelves. So check out your local bookstore.

Iris I liked in the book. She is a witch in hiding after something bad happen years ago. She loves helping wild animals and form a bond with a wolf. To deal with stress she writes out spells and don’t finish them.

Pike is so annoying in the beginning. He jokes about everything and hate witches. When he trash talk about Iris best friend, he better watch out. Out of anger Iris curse Pike, but an owl steals the curse away. Now they must work together to get it back, without Iris revealing her secrets.

This book was a fun enemies to lovers read. I love how much Pike and Iris interact with each other in the book. Just happy this is a stand alone book, don’t have to worry about cliffhangers. Ready to go owl hunting?
