Coven by Jennifer Dugan and Kit Seaton

Emsy has always lived in sunny California, and she’d much rather spend her days surfing with her friends or hanging out with her girlfriend than honing her powers as a fire elemental. But when members of her family’s coven back east are murdered under mysterious circumstances that can only be the result of powerful witchcraft, her family must suddenly return to dreary upstate New York. There, Emsy will have to master her neglected craft in order to find the killer . . . before her family becomes their next target

My Review:

Are you ready to join a Coven??

Emsy love her life in California. She has awesome friends and a special girl. Then her folks drop a bombshell on her. They have to go back home. To their coven they left years ago. Now Emsy must learn more of her magic and want secrets her family been keeping from her years ago.

Coven was such a fun witchy read. Plus it is an cool graphic novel. At first I did not like Emsy behavior, but she slowly grows up. This magical read is perfect to read anytime. Also I do love the cover of this book. Not sure if this is a series, but at the end it felt like a stand alone. Looking for a quick witchy book, check out Coven!

Happy Reading!!!!
