My Review:

Are you ready to join a secret society?

Maren best friend on year disappeared. Everyone thinks she ran away again. Maren thinks she knows something bad happens to her. She got a feeling that Polly was in danger and needed help. Going through her friend suff, she discovers a society her friend joined. Now she must find a way to join and get answers to her friend disappearance.

I liked this mystery book. It was a very quick read and a lot of guessing on what was going on. Even have a crazy twist at the end. Also, another cover I do liked. Chelsea’s books are also quick and fun to read. Some of the characters can be likable in this book. This book is good for those who don’t like to be jump scared of either thrillers/mystery.

My Review:

Some Boys is a young adult book. It has a lot of trigger warnings and could be sensitive to some readers on here.

Grace used to have best friends and dress differently. Then, in one night, things change. She was rape by the golden boy. Grace was accused of lying and lost everything. No one has her side, even the teachers and family. That until she got detention with the golden boys best friend.

Ian always has his friend back, but after talking to Grace during their time together. He learns their two sides every story that night. He might have saved her that day, but he can’t betrayal his friend. Ian becomes conflicted on what to do.

This is duel Point of View of between Ian and Grace in the book. Get to see see their struggles. I really hooked on the story to this book. I find it on Amazon for 1.99 ebook. The cover is pretty neat, also. I like the way the main character, Grace, dressed in book. This was a very emotional book and very tense hearing the story of what happened to grace. If you are looking for a make yo make you wreck, then check out some boys.

My Review:

I was very disappointed in this book. I was so looking forward to the first adult book from Kate Alice Marshall aurthor. The storyline was tense and suspenseful at times. It leaves you with a huge guessing game on who not to trust. Unfortunately for me, I figured it out after the few couple chapters. There are some characters you may like or hate at the same time. I will mostly get this as a library before buying it. If may not be for me, bit I’m sure other readers will enjoy it better. Like I always said, read too much thriller/horror myself, so things become predictable.

My Review:

I gonna say, this book freaked me out. It is very hard to scare me. This book was amazing, and I love everything about it. This is my third time reading a Grady Hendrix and falling in love. Yes, I said love too much in this review. Lately I been reading lots of adult horror/thriller. Since young adult stuff has become very predictable for me.

This may be a short review, sorry. The summary sums it better than me. I’m still having nightmares over this book. You will be sleeping with lights on a few days. It was well written and a must-read for adult horror fans out there.

My Review:

Are you ready to face your nightmares?

In Newham, where you become your own nightmare. You either conquer your nightmare to become one or become a monster killer. Ness, the main character has joined friends of restful souls. So she can have a place to hide out from the monsters. When she messed up on an assignment, she ended up on mail detailed. She now must face the real world and confront those who scare her.

The summary sums it better than I do. I really did the storyline to this book, cover, and characters. It is interesting how the main character is not this bad ass chick. Ness suffers from PSTD when her sister turns into a nightmare and kills two people. She is very scared of every monster she sees and rather hides than fights. It was annoying at first, but she kinda grows on you. This book was perfect, with the original story with crazy twists. I’m looking forward to book two.

Cursed Princess Club by Lambcat

My Review,

When you buy a book because the cover is so cute.

When looking for a new graphic novel to read, you find a magical one at the bookstore. This is my first time reading a webtoon book before. I have fallen in love with the story and also the graphics for it. It really cute read and funny at times.

Gwendolyn is not your normal princess. She cooks really well and has a nice heart, but on the outside, she looks different. She is loved by her family but gets judged on her looks. When her father wants to marry her daughters, they are all excited. When Gwendolyn hears that she is ugly by one of them, she runs off upset, then discovered a secret world where people like her are welcome.

Dead Girls Can’t Tell Secrets by Chelsea Ichaso

Summary:

My Review:

Dead Girls Can’t Tell Secrets was a suspenseful read. The main character, Savannah, recently deals with her sister having an accident. Some people believed that Piper tried to kill herself, while her sister thought someone pushed her. When she finds a mystery note in her sister’s jacket, she is determined to follow the truth. Even walking in Pipers shoes.

This book was a quick read for me. It was tense at times and a huge guessing gaming on what was happening. Everyone seems to be lying about Piper last day, but what is the truth about what happened to her. I liked this book enough to finish it. For me, it was a predictable storyline. So I only gave it 3 stars. Other readers on here might enjoy this book better than me. Like I said before, I read way to mystery books that are young adults. So they always become predictable to me. If you know any good twisted reads, I’m open to suggestions.
