My Review:

Welcome to The Safe Place, a place where you can kick off your shoes and relax by the pool.

For Emily that what she desperately needs am escape from her crappy life. One day everything starts to mysteriously go down hill. Her ceo boss takes an special interest her case and hires her as in live in housekeeper. Everything seems way to prefect the job and the family she working for. Ignoring her intuition that something is amist in this perfect home, she enjoy her time by the pool and caring for their daughter. Something that perfect, could be hiding some dark secrets.

The Safe Place was a nice adult mystery read that I liked. To me the storyline got a bit predictable. It was a little tense toward the end of the book. Don’t blame the main character ignoring the signs something is wrong. Emily just enjoying her time buying things and relax at the pool to question much. If I live in a huge mansion like that I would be enjoying the pool everyday, just forget the crazy stuff happening.

Enjoy your stay at The Safe Place, just beware you may not be able to call for help.

My Review:

Saving Meghan was such an insightful read. I did enjoyed the story. It was such a good mystery and leaves you guessing.

Meghan is always sick. Been in and out of the hospital all her life. No one seems to know what’s wrong her. Her mom always have different doctors on hand, trying to figure out. Her dad on the other hand getting tired of the hospital visits and thinks nothing serious wrong with Meghan. To please Meghan’s mom, her father finds a new doctor. Will this new doctor be the key to saving Meghan?

This book leaves you wondering if her mother poisoning her or is it all inside Meghan’s head? There some plot twists towards the end you don’t see coming. In the mood for a little mystery and something new to read. This is an adult read you might enjoy. Come out tommorow.

My Review:

I love Happy Death Day movies! Was so excited they made it into a book. There not much of a book and movie difference.. The book is just a quick detail on what happen in both movies.

Tree is not a very nice person to begin with. She is mean and sleeping around a lot. On her birthday she gets kill and wakes up reliving the same day again and again. She must find her killer before her days are number. Each time to relive the day she slowly notice how mean she had been to everyone. Will Tree be able to find her killer and change her life around in time?

In Happy Death Day 2U, Picks up where the first movie left off. Mostly get more answers why there was a time loop and still another killer on the loose. Keeping it short to not spoiled a thing.

This book was a quick read. I did enjoyed it. The movies are funny to watch also. If you into cheesy horror movies like me, then you will have fun either reading or watching the movies. You will find this book in the adult section of the bookstore.

My Review:

I did liked this adult mystery/thriller. The story was pretty interesting and set into two point of views. You don’t need to read this review, if your not into adult reads. I read mostly a bit of everything that sounds good. This was mostly an quick read. Like other mysteries books, it slow pace. Can connect to what the characters are going through.

Allison in the book is a survival, she is on the run after a plane crash. You can tell right off the bat someone been watching her. No one knows who she running from at first or why she running in the first place. You just want to root for her to stay alive. What hidden secrets she been keeping from her family for years?

Maggie is the hopeful mother. She the only one, that believes Allison might be alive. As she digs through her daughter past, what will she dig up? I like how accepting Maggie is, when finding secrets of her daughter’s life. She really cares for her family. Will mother and daughter be reunited at the end?

I say this again I liked this read, but not in love with it. If you looking for a new adult read or any new read, you might enjoy it. If you unsure of it, then get it from the library.

My Review:

I know I’m reviewing an adult read. I did enjoyed Riley Sager other book, The Final Girls. So i was excited for his new book. He is gonna to be my go to guy for good adult thrillers. If you guys not into adult thrillers, then you can skip this review.

The detailed summary give most of the book away. It what written on back of book. Don’t forget it’s a thriller and there be some twists and turns.

I enjoyed the main character story, Emma. I liked how the story switches up between her time at camp in the past and now. There’s a lot of questions on what happen years ago and Emma the main suspect. How can three campers just disappears years ago? Emma faces her past when she goes back to camp. Will she be able to find answers to the past?

The book is a slow start like any mystery/thriller read. Once it picks up, you will keep guessing until the very end on what’s going on. Beware, Riley knows how to shock you in the end. In mood for good thriller, then this book be a right for for you.
