{Arc Review} Furyborn by Claire Legrand

Book Summary:
Follows two fiercely independent young women, centuries apart, who hold the power to save their world…or doom it.
When assassins ambush her best friend, the crown prince, Rielle Dardenne risks everything to save him, exposing her ability to perform all seven kinds of elemental magic. The only people who should possess this extraordinary power are a pair of prophesied queens: a queen of light and salvation and a queen of blood and destruction. To prove she is the Sun Queen, Rielle must endure seven trials to test her magic. If she fails, she will be executed…unless the trials kill her first.
A thousand years later, the legend of Queen Rielle is a mere fairy tale to bounty hunter Eliana Ferracora. When the Undying Empire conquered her kingdom, she embraced violence to keep her family alive. Now, she believes herself untouchable–until her mother vanishes without a trace, along with countless other women in their city. To find her, Eliana joins a rebel captain on a dangerous mission and discovers that the evil at the heart of the empire is more terrible than she ever imagined.
As Rielle and Eliana fight in a cosmic war that spans millennia, their stories intersect, and the shocking connections between them ultimately determine the fate of their world–and of each other.

My Review:

This book was so amazing. I enjoyed every minute of it. The publishers was nice to sent me a review copy. Enjoyed most of the characters and love the world building.

One queen of blood and One queen of light. Read their stories and discover which one can save the world

Eilana, my favorite. She is kick butt assassin in the book. Do what needs to be done to survive, even hiding her own secrets from the kind himself. Who is she really?

Rielle, I enjoy her story. An young girl in hiding, but force to come out. Endure harsh treatment to prove she either Queen of Blood or Queen of light. Who will she become in the end?

Book is for more older teens. It has some mature contents in it. It for high fantasy lovers. There so many characters to love in the book. Grab some tissues that some sad stuff going on.

Happy Reading!!!!!!

But Peyton doesn’t trust her heart, especially when she senses that Owen is hiding something. When their secrets are finally exposed, Peyton has to decide if love is worth fighting for.

My Review:

I really liked the book. The story was heartbreaking and little empowering with facing your fears.

I liked Peyton in the book. She is head strong and stubborn. Had everything going for her until an accident change her life forever. Now she leaves her hometown behind to coop with healing, and hiding from her painful pass. Will she be able to open herself up again and let go of the past?

I adore Owen, he comes off making dumb jokes at Peyton but then has an soft side as well. He is a fighter with his own secrets and not good opening up either. With Owen, who is force to help Peyton heal from her accident. It would be a matter a time before secrets get out. Will these two be strong enough to stay together in the end?

This book has fighters in, and some sensitive subjects for younger teens. Book was just an good read and would the story over and over again. Just have some tissues ready.
