{Arc Review} Maybe This Time by Kasie West

Book Summary:
One year. Nine events. Nine chances to . . . fall in love?
Weddings. Funerals. Barbecues. New Year’s Eve parties. Name the occasion, and Sophie Evans will be there. Well, she has to be there. Sophie works for the local florist, so she can be found at every big event in her small hometown, arranging bouquets and managing family dramas.
Enter Andrew Hart. The son of the fancy new chef in town, Andrew is suddenly required to attend all the same events as Sophie. Entitled, arrogant, preppy Andrew. Sophie just wants to get her job done and finish up her sketches so she can apply to design school. But every time she turns around, there is Andrew, getting in her way and making her life more complicated. Until one day she wonders if maybe complicated isn’t so bad after all . . .
Told over the course of one year and following Sophie from event to event, this delightful novel from master of romantic comedy Kasie West shows how love can blossom in unexpected places.

My Review:

Maybe this Time is a good summer read. Especially after I been reading some so many heavy and fantasy reads. I always like Kasie West books. Yea her books are always predictable for me. Her new one has some fun laughs with the main the characters and the story was pretty cute.

Sophie is a hard worker, she loves putting together the flowers for events. Her dream is to go to NYC and become a fashion designer. Then a change is coming for work and Andrew might detailed her plans.

I found it funny at times how Andrew and Sophie butt heads all the time throughout the book. Also like seeing the friendship between Micah and Sophie. The girls are close and are like sisters. What will become of Sophie during the course of the year?

This was another fast read, which I like. The cover is cute also for the summer. It mostly Sophie discovering what she wants in life with help from her best friend and new guy Andrew. Looking for something fun, than this book is for you. This book just recently came out this week.

Happy Reading!!!!

{Arc Review} Fame, Fate and the Kiss by Kaise West

Book Summary:
Lacey Barnes has dreamt of being in a movie for as long as she can remember. However, while her dream did include working alongside the hottest actor in Hollywood, it didn’t involve having to finish up her senior year of high school at the same time she was getting her big break. Although that is nothing compared to Donavan, the straight-laced student her father hires to tutor her, who is a full-on nightmare.
As Lacey struggles to juggle her burgeoning career, some on-set sabotage, and an off-screen romance with the unlikeliest of leading men, she quickly learns that sometimes the best stories happen when you go off script.

My Review:

Fate, Fame and the Kiss is a good book to read for Valentine’s Day. I did enjoy the idea of the book, it being involved being on a set of a zombie movie. Which I would love to know more of this zombie movie/book they where doing. I like seeing how the characters interact with other off the set and making the movie.

Lacey, is an upcoming actress. Still learning the ropes on being a big star and still has lots to learn. She secretly wish she back home doing normal high school stuff sometime. She always finding self conflicted with her acting abilities and who she as a person.  With accidents happening on the set and the lost of chemistry on the set, will Lacey be able to overcome these obstacles?

The book was a cute read. I did like the cover the book. Since I’m more a fantasy person, I did liked this book. Mostly I hope there a side story of this book about the zombie movie. I’m just the type of person who prefers horror movies stuff on Valentine’s Day. This book is perfect for cute, and fluffy romance readers. It just came out this week.

Happy Reading!!!!

{Arc Review} Listen To Your Heart By Kasie West

Book Summary:
Talking to other people isn’t Kate Bailey’s favorite activity. She’d much rather be out on the lake, soaking up the solitude and sunshine. So when her best friend, Alana, convinces Kate to join their high school’s podcast, Kate is not expecting to be chosen as the host. Now she’ll have to answer calls and give advice on the air? Impossible.
But to Kate’s surprise, she turns out to be pretty good at the hosting gig. Then the podcast gets in a call from an anonymous guy, asking for advice about his unnamed crush. Kate is pretty sure that the caller is gorgeous Diego Martinez, and even surer that the girl in question is Alana. Kate is excited for her friend … until Kate herself starts to develop feelings for Diego. Suddenly, Kate finds that while doling out wisdom to others may be easy, asking for help is tougher than it looks, and following your own advice is even harder.
Kasie West’s adorable story of secrets, love, and friendship is sure to win over hearts everywhere.

My Review:
