But when the ailments take a sharp turn, doctors intervene and immediately suspect Munchausen syndrome by proxy, a rare behavioral disorder where the primary caretaker, typically the mother, seeks medical help for made-up symptoms of a child. Is this what’s going on? Or is there something even more sinister at hand?
Saving Meghan was such an insightful read. I did enjoyed the story. It was such a good mystery and leaves you guessing.
Meghan is always sick. Been in and out of the hospital all her life. No one seems to know what’s wrong her. Her mom always have different doctors on hand, trying to figure out. Her dad on the other hand getting tired of the hospital visits and thinks nothing serious wrong with Meghan. To please Meghan’s mom, her father finds a new doctor. Will this new doctor be the key to saving Meghan?
This book leaves you wondering if her mother poisoning her or is it all inside Meghan’s head? There some plot twists towards the end you don’t see coming. In the mood for a little mystery and something new to read. This is an adult read you might enjoy. Come out tommorow.
