My Review:

What happens when your life turn upside and move into a boarding school?

Grace has lost everything and now she moves in with her cousin and uncle. They live an boarding school, which things are not as they seem. Being a new girl is hard enough, but you got everyone staring at you.

Grace feels like something more going on at this school, there are some family secrets she discovers along the way.

Jaxon a close off from everyone and is a vampire, wants nothing to do with Grace being at the school. They always bump heads, even if Grace don’t know that he is a vampire at first.

Grace is about to discover this magical world that seems so unreal.

This book was so good. I enjoyed the story and the setting to it. Who would have thought there be a boarding school with magical creatures.

I did like Grace in the book. She had a trouble past, and cooping with a lot of change, but she is smart enough to know something is up at the school.

I love Jaxon so much, he is in his own little world. Kinda rules the school and won’t let anyone get out of line. Grace makes things hard on him since she don’t play by Jaxon rules.

This is a new fresh take with the vampire genre and I’m glad I was able to read it. It was fun and exciting read, with a ending leaving you wanting me.

My Review:

A world filled with water and hidden secrets.

Tempe is all alone when her parents and sister passed away. She learn a shocking secret about her sister, so she will do whatever it takes to relieve her and get answers.

What was Elysea doing on the day her parents disappeared and how did she really die?

Lor who works in the basement of the revival place. He has his secrets why he keeps to himself and likes it better that way. For a flavor from his only friend, he helps him out for the day. He is in charge of over seeing Elysea revival.

When Tempe escape with her dead sister, Lor is in for a big adventure.

I really did enjoy the storyline a lot. It was something so original and different. The characters are very likeable and fun when the interact with each other. Tempe is very smart and willing to do whatever it takes to get answers. Elysea trying to comes to terms what happen, that she dead. She tries hard to remember that night and don’t want anyone in trouble for escaping. Lor not very good talking with people, he just don’t his friend to get in trouble. Plus he hiding some secrets about the revival.

Lor, Tempe, and Elysea set on an adventure on the high seas. If they don’t end up killing each other.

This book was very hard to review and explain so I did the best I can. I love the world building and everything. Even the cover is so pretty.

My Review:

What goes on when you complete for the Olympics? Lots of drama, boy crazy and scandals.

Aubrey is doing the best she can. Since this may be the last time she performs at the Olympics. She fighting the pain in her back from spinal surgery, along with team drama. When the team hit with a big scandal, sides will be taken and the gold medal may be out of reach. Will Aubrey be able to get the team focus enough to win.

This book was a fast pace read. I do enjoy the storyline and the characters in it. Aubrey is a fighter until the very end. It may her last time doing the Olympic, but she must rethink what to do afterwards. Hopefully she can ralley her team together and make happy memories in the end. I do like gymnastics stories a lot. It a fun sport to me and this book was prefect read.

My Review:

Welcome to Layoverland! A place where you wait for your number to be called to be place in heaven or be stuck forever in limbo.

Beatrice was having a such bad day. First she gets into a fight with her sister and then a truck hits her car. Next thing she know she waking up on a plane. She is told she is dead and must now collect 5,000 souls to move on.

Bea may not be a bad person at heart, but she does things out of revenge. She never thinks of the consequences of her actions. Just punish people her way, like with Caleb. The boy who caused this mess in the first. When she has to receive his memories to cross over. Bea makes sure he relives everything horrible in his life before he remembers why he was there in first.

Turns out Caleb is not such a bad person after all. Can Bea put her revenge scam aside and let the poor boy move on??

This book turns out to be a nice original read. I enjoy the setting of the book was in a airport. It’s was neat seeing how the main characters interact with other. They the only ones about the same age at the airport and must work together to figure our how things works. Even escaping from airport was impossible when the characters went to explore outside and end up back inside. Bea may be stuck at airport for years so she better learn to make some friends along the way also.

Layoverland was such a fun read. You stuck in limbo waiting to move on. Looking for something different, then check it out.

My Review:

A girl who was found unconscious by the river bank. She is lucky to just be alive as reports of another girl found dead almost the same spot.

Amelia is recovering the best as she can. She can’t seem to remember what happen that day. Her best friend was the one that found her. Everyone thinks she might have try to kill herself, but she has a nagging feeling that something more sinister going on.

Her hest friend acting weird, then the guy who hates her brother take a notice in her. Amelia getting strange messages to leave it be. Who can she really trust, when the people close to her seem to be lying to her.

This book was pretty good. The cover I do like a lot, so breathtaking and pretty. Amelia was lucky a tree stop her fall and from going in that water to drown. The book may be a little predictable at times for some readers. It kept me entertained until the very end. This book is very short read.

My Review:

Ghosts has a way of haunting the living. Some ghost can be evil, while others can be good. Some just want their story to tell and move on. Not everyone believes in ghosts.

Veronica recently discover there are ghosts haunting her new place. Lately she been seeing her mother spirit around, trying to give her advice. At school Everyone thinks she weird. Beside dealing with ghosts, she been dealing with a brain tumor. Only a few of her friends know how much pain she going through. She tries hard to just live her life like it’s her last day.

Sawyer recently more into Veronica building. His family are remodeling their house. They seems rich, but have their own secrets. He is one of those popular, good grades and everything. His mom plans out everything for him and runs his life. When force to do a project with Veronica, he starts rethinking things and maybe discover some ghosts may be real.

I really did enjoy this book. It was a very addictive read and there some twists in it. I always love reading Katie Mcgarry books. I could get lost in the stories she tells and fall in love with all the characters she makes. I really like Veronica in the book, she hides how much she hurting from tumor. She acts like nothing is wrong and still live a normal a life. Sawyer I do love him in the book. I like his story and how kindhearted he can be at times. They both grow on you in the book.

My Review:

It not easy dealing with a invisible illness, especially when your in high school.

David is the popular guy at school. He has good grades and has a supportive girlfriend. On the outside you never would never know he was fighting a deadly disease, cystic fibrosis. He always putting up a brave in front of his friends and try not to let his illness defy him. Now he is trap in the hospital, as his illness gotten worse. Slowly he starts to rethink his life choices, and hope his friends and family will be there for him in the end.

Jamie is mostly anti social. She suffers from depression and a bit of anxiety after a tragic event that has happen to her. Her mother force her to work at the hospital and be more social. There she meets David. Somehow David and Jamie form a connection with each other. Also they confide into each other on secrets they hardly tell anyone.

Once David leaves the hospital. Will he and Jamie connection with each stick or they go back to their normal lives at school?

This book was so good and emotional read to me. There some sensitive talk on mental health in it. I think it was well written the story. I love the interactions between David and Jamie. They seem like the prefect fit. They both seem to come out if their shell a bit and standing up what they believe in. This book recently came out and should be check out.

If you like stories like Five Feet Apart and A fault in the Stars, then you will enjoy Just Breathe.

My Review:

Keystone is a place where you are disconnected from the world. You learn the art of the heist and to become anyone you want to. A school for learning to be the best thief.

Ella life kinda blew up in her face. When tragic strikes her friends on a boat, she becomes someone new. Now learn at a school of thieves. It kinda hard to do when the pass has a way of catching up with you.

She has the skill of good instincts. Ella can act her out of anything and be prefect fit to train at Keystone. She becomes a new person and hopefully can leave the past behind, if Garrett will let her.

This book was so good. I so engrossed in the story and world building. The world is pretty neat in the book. You have life online and being watch all the time. You must learn to become popular in order to make it big. You can become discounted and disappear from the spotlight if you don’t follow the rules.

I likes the interactions with Garrett and Ella. It was fun when they always bumping heads,yet they feel something for each other. They both have there own secrets at keystone. Ella and Garrett are both very skill and must work together to pass a test.

My Review:

The book picks up right after first one.

Grey is on the run hiding, while Rhen is picking up the pieces of his kingdom with Harper.

Grey wants nothing to do being a long lost heir. He thinks Rhen can rule his people just fine without him. He is also afraid what Rhen will do to him if he knew the truth. Now he is hiding and hope the kingdoms can be at peace without needing the heir help.

Rhen is getting fearful of this hidden heir with magic powers. He is loosing his sense on what is right and wrong. Rhen is becoming a ruthless king to be fear, while on the hunt for Rhen and answers he may have. With Harper still by his side, she still believes in him.

I did liked this book, but not love it like the first one. At times the story felt like it drag out a little. Still the ending makes me excited to see what happens next. It told in three points of views and adds a new character in the mix.
