Say you’ll Remember Me by Katie Mcgarry

Book Summary:

When Drix was convicted of a crime–one he didn’t commit–he thought his life was over. But opportunity came with the new Second Chance Program, the governor’s newest pet project to get delinquents off the streets, rehabilitated and back into society. Drix knows this is his chance to get his life back on track, even if it means being paraded in front of reporters for a while.

Elle knows she lives a life of privilege. As the governor’s daughter, she can open doors with her name alone. But the expectations and pressure to be someone she isn’t may be too much to handle. She wants to follow her own path, whatever that means.

When Drix and Elle meet, their connection is immediate, but so are their problems. Drix is not the type of boy Elle’s parents have in mind for her, and Elle is not the kind of girl who can understand Drix’s messy life.

But sometimes love can breach all barriers.

Fighting against a society that can’t imagine them together, Drix and Elle must push themselves–Drix to confront the truth of the robbery, and Elle to assert her independence–and each other to finally get what they deserve.

My Review:

This book was so good. I always adore Katie Mcgarry books all the time. Have fallen in love with her new characters and stories in each book she writes.

Elle in the book must do everything her family say because they know what is what and she don’t. At first Elle keep changing her looks for her mom and seem annoying a bit doing prefect routine. Meeting Drix helped get her out of her shell a bit. You get to see the real Elle. How long can she hide from her folks on who she really is on the inside?

Drix the bad boy in the book, from wrong side of the tracks. He learning from his past mistakes and try to become a better person for himself and his family. When he bumps into Elle one day, both their lives change. I really like Drix in the book. Glad he becomes an change man and deep down he also have an good heart. Can Drix help Elle become her own person in the long run?

Can Elle and Drix see the good in each other and bring out their true selves in the book? Or this is another doom love story. Well you have to have out for self how it will end for these to love birds.

Happy Reading!
