My Review:

Sky without Stars was a epic adventure. The storyline was so good and I did liked some of the characters in it.

Chatine, is like a loner in the book. She dresses as a boy to steal from people. She dreams of leaving Laterre and her family behind. She is offer a job to spy on on Marcellus. Will she be able to break free from her life?

Marcellus, he always following the rules. He has a good heart and don’t like how things are run. Marcellus is torn to follow his heart or his grandfather wisdom and rule. In the end will he be able to chose the right path?

Alouette, has been isolated all her life. Living in a secret bunker, training and protecting the old life ways. Her curiosity of the outside gets the best of her, when she ends up saving Marcellus life. What secrets truths hidden in the outside world for her?

This book is a very detailed world building. It’s told in three points of views of Alouette, Marcellus. and Chatine. I like the how these three strangers interact with each other. If your in mood for some syfy, little romance and cool new worlds. Then your in for a treat.

My Review:

Bloodspell was such an epic adventure. Another fantasy read that I did love and enjoyed. I could read this book over and over again.

Blue is kindhearted in the book. Only think of others then herself. Must do everything by the book and hide her magic. I like how she helps run shop with her father, and  how involved she is with the people. She good friends with the royals also. When her father passed away, he life changes. Now an evil witch lurking in the kingdom, and Blue must try really hard to hide her secrets.

Kellan the crown prince. Always seems to be getting into trouble and not taking his prince duties seriously. You can say he is a handful and get on Blue’s nerves a lot in the book. It fun watching Blue and Kellan butt heads all the time. When an evil witch on the loose, Will Kellan be able to step up as ruler?

I’m not a huge Cinderella a fan. Yet I did love this retelling of it. Bloodspell was so action packed, unpredictable. The cover is so pretty. This book is for fairytale retellings lovers and fantasy.

My Review:

A Dark So Lonely Curse was such a perfect Beauty and the Beast retelling. I love how how the story is set in modern times. Also the cover blew me away. Enjoy how the the two main characters interact with each other.

I thought Harper was kick ass in her own way in the book. She did not let her disabilities, stop her from helping a girl in trouble. Which would she end yup stuck into an crazy magical world. Can she use her wits and charm to get back home?

Prince Rhen in the book was such an jerk. He was so desperate breaking the curse, he end up kidnapping girls from other words. When Harper accidentally comes along, he is in over his head. Will Harper be the one to tame the beast?

This book was such an quick read. I would read this over and over. Also what I love in this book, the prince is not really a beast form all the time. He just a jerk prince that is cursed. What kind curse he has, well you must read for self. The book comes out January 31st.

My Review:

This book was so good. I do love Frankenstein stories. I did love Mary Shelley Frankenstein movie. I so need to read the that book. I enjoy this twist in tail. It was pretty neat point of view of Elizabeth story.

I did liked Elizabeth in the book. She was very brave protecting Victor through out the years. She would do anything to keep her family together. She loves everyone and just wants to be by their side forever. When Victor goes missing, what dark secrets will she uncover?

This book was a quick read I did love the little twists in the book. This is good for new readers to Frankenstein world. A good new Halloween read of the year. It’s already out, so pick up a copy.

My Review:

This book was so much fun. Really did enjoyed every minute of it. Also did learned about some Mayan mythology. This middle grade book is for all ages.

I adore Zane in the book. He was like the underdog throughout the story. He got this limp and no powers. Yet everyone thinks he can break this god out prison. There are secrets to who he is. So what Zane is story and what does it have to do with gods?

I think the book is a quick read. Sadly took me a while to finish it bc I had work. If you enjoy action adventure books, while learning new mythology, this book could for you. Comes out the 18th.

My Review:

This book was a fantastic read, I enjoyed every minute of it. Loved the story building and the characters in it.

Zera is a kick butt heartless assassin. She only cares about getting her heart back, even it means risking her life to get the prince’s heart. She is stubborn and has a big mouth and that’s what I like about her. It’s just not that easy when a witch has the power to her heart.

Lucien is rumored that he is just like his father. He started hunting for witches after his sisters death. He holds some dark secrets from his parents. I enjoyed the struggles he has as he learns to be himself. Hope he can find peace with himself. When he crosses paths with Zera, he better watch out. Is Lucien really like his ruthless father or does he really have a heart?

This book was action packed with lots of death. It’s a great new fantasy read and it came out this week. I’m excited to see its beautifulness in hardcover.

Sorry been kinda slow with blogging since last week. Been so busy getting ready for book con. I know I could set up posts and all but been so busy. I got some awesome reviews coming up and a blog tour of a new fantasy series.

Did not take much pictures this weekend. Was so busy wondering around for books. So here is my book con haul for both days.

My Review:

I’m really starting to enjoy space books. This is my third scifi read of the year. I really enjoy the story and the characters in it. It was very nicely detailed on how they lived in space, when earth hit an ice age.

Stella, I liked her in the book. She is a reader, teacher and engineer. Not worry on falling in love yet. She very smart girl and can defend for herself at times. Will she be able to fit in her new role on another ship?

There Hugo, who I did like much. At times he shows he care, but other times he acts like a drunk. With his own secrets he hides from his crew and Stella. Will he be able to let Stella in?

This was a fast pace read with some romance in it. It suppose to be an Jane Eyre retelling. I think it’s for fans who read Jan Eyre and people like me who have never heard of Jane Eyre.

My Review:

This is book two of Spindle Fire. If you have yet read book one, then you don’t need to read this review. Spindle Fire is an retelling for sleeping beauty. For those you love fairy tales and retellings.

I adore reading Aurora story in the second book. Love how she tries to cope with the real world, after all she lost in her dream world. Sad watching her figure what is real or not. Is the man she once love was ever real?

I like how Isabelle grows in this book. Take charge kind of way. Always taking care of her sister and kingdom, but who will take care of her? Hopefully she let’s love in before it’s to late.

This book is magical and action pack. Will Aurora and Isabelle be able to save their kingdom and get the guys at the end? I do love the covers to these books.
